[edit] Importance
PornoTube was recently theorized to be the "most important site on the internet" by gadget magazine T3 and associate editor of Popular Science magazine, Joe Brown.[1]
PornoTube also recently gained a wave of attention during the Britney-K-Fed sex tape broo-haha of November 2006, when a 19 second clip from the tape allegedly surfaced on the site.[2]
This was later debunked as a college tape of a woman who bore a resemblance to the pop star.[3]
However, Pornotube did receive worldwide attention from the gossip.[4]
The self-publishing Web 2.0 site is still in Beta.
AEBN stands for the Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network.[5]

[edit] AEBN
PornoTube is owned by AEBN (see reference above). This is more info on AEBN: "Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network (AEBN) defined the adult Video On Demand (VOD) market in the year 2000 with cutting edge video delivery and security technology. Today, AEBN is the undisputed world leader in adult VOD and consistently ranks in the top 200 most visited Websites on the Internet (ranking provided by Alexa.com). AEBN maintains secured distribution rights to more than 50,000 full-length adult titles from over 1,200 movie studios and video producers with greater than 150 straight and gay genres. AEBN markets its huge catalog of content to end users through a worldwide network of more than 20,000 Webmasters with some of the best payouts in the industry." 216.136.83.245 17:24, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] better than YouTube
Why PornoTube is better than YouTube blog post which focuses primarily on the Web 2.0 design features rather than the porn content: http://www.blather.net/globaleyes/archives/2007/02/ 216.136.83.245 16:15, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Well it could also be better than YouTube if it doesn't contain spyware/viruses. So the question is, does it contain spyware/viruses of any kind? i would love too know —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.223.21.55 (talk) 00:08, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] I'm sorry, what?
Visiting this page, I think it's talking for a different site. Free full length, high-quality porn films? I'm sorry, but the only thing that I see there is your generic 20 seconds clips, with a very few exceptions going over one minute. The quality is the same as youtube, not high really, but good enough for streaming. They do have a "click here to view full film" thing, but it's pay per minute. Pay per minute. Not to mention I don't really see that many comments on there, certainly not as many as in other similar services, so I'm not sure where this talk about a huge community is coming from. What's with this article? Anyone care to clarify? Arjunkster 04:25, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikiporno
The link to Wikiporno provides a fair amount of additional information lacking on wikipedia. A user has tried to remove this link, thinking its spam. Perhaps there is a better way to highlight more robust profiles on wikiporno? I encourage suggestions / thoughts. bvggle 01:42, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Missing footnotes
The article has links to a dozen of footnotes, but there is none of them present at the bottom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.157.237.254 (talk) 23:08, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
