Portugal competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland.

A delegation of seventy one competitors participated in ten sports, with the sailing team winning the nation's only medal at these Olympics (bronze). For the first time, Portugal participated in the Gymnastics events and, also for the first time, with three female competitors.
