Portstewart F.C. is a Northern Ireland football club playing in the Irish First Division. The club, founded in 1968, hails from Portstewart, County Londonderry and plays its home matches at Mullaghacall, near the centre of the town.
Club colours are sky blue and navy blue. Change strip is all-white. The current manager is Trevor McKendry, assisted by Alan Vauls and William Bowles. Trainer is Wesley Gregg and the club physiotherapist is Laura Hasson. Gary Taylor (footballer) plays Centre Half

[edit] 2005/06 Season
This season,(2005-2006), Portstewart have won the Second Division of the Irish Football League and will consequently compete in the First Division next season. The second string team, Portstewart Olympic, won the Steel and Sons Shield, repeating their success of last year.
[edit] 2006/07 Season
Portstewart finished 9th (out of 12 teams) in the 2006/07 season, with 20 points from their 22 matches. This position was one above the relegation zone, and ensured that Portstewart remained in the First Division for the following season. They were knocked out of the Irish Cup in the 3rd Round 4-2 at home to Banbridge Town, and reached the Quarter Finals of the Intermediate Cup before being knocked out 2-0 at home to Coagh Utd.

Portstewart were relegated from the Carnegie Irish League 1st Division and will play their football in the 2nd Division next season. In the JJB Irish Cup, after a few successful rounds, the Seahawks were knocked out by Dundela, 4-0, in the 5th round. On a brighter note, the team won the Craig Memorial Cup with Andrzej Kleczkawski and Lee Rushe scoring the vital goals in a 2-1 win over Tobermore United with keeper Matt McGraw making a breathtaking save in the final minutes of the game.
