Porto Salvo (pron. IPA: ['poɾtu 'saɫvu]) is a civil parish (Freguesias) in Oeiras, Portugal.
Situated to the North of Paço de Arcos and Oeiras, the Porto Salvo parish spans a surface of approximately 7.10 km² and has a population of 13,724 (2001 data).
The parish was officially created on June 11, 1993 by splitting the Barcarena and Oeiras e São Julião da Barra parishes. It was granted the statute of 'vila' (town) on July 12, 2001.
There are several civic organizations established in Porto Salvo, of which the most relevant are Sociedade de Instrução Musical de Porto Salvo, Atlético Clube de Porto Salvo and the Leões de Porto Salvo sports club.
Porto Salvo is also home to Taguspark, the largest and most relevant Research and Development park in Portugal, which houses several dozen advanced technology startups, mostly in the IT and biotechnology fields, some IST facilities, and several large-scale IT facilities, such as the Millennium bcp and the former IBM/PT-SI co-hosting datacenter.
Besides Taguspark, Porto Salvo also hosts some office parks like Lagoas Park and Tagus Space.
