Porto Formoso

Porto Formoso is a parish in the district of Ribeira Grande in the Azores. The population in 2001 is 1,267, its density is 110.6/km² and the area is 11.46 km².

Porto Formoso has a school, a lyceum, and a square (praça). The parish is also one of the two towns in Europe involved in tea production.[1]
