Porter Ridge Middle School is a school located in Union County, NC and is part of Union County Public Schools. The school opened in 2005. The school is part of a campus that includes Porter Ridge High School and Porter Ridge Elementary School. It has extracurricular activities, including football, basketball, cheerleading, and a band. The Mascot is a pirate. Purple, silver and black are the school colors. The Pirates play at Bonterra Stadium, which is also used by the high school. Its biggest rivals are Sun Valley Middle, Weddington Middle, and Piedmont Middle.
