PTHS is a class 2A school in the Olympic League. The Redskins recent State Championship came in baseball in 2004. Also, boy's soccer finished 4th in 2005. The 2007-2008 Redskins boys basketball team won the Class 2A/3A Olympic League championship with a 15-1 league record and a 19-1 regular season mark. They won the Class 2A West Central District title, earning the teams first state berth since 2002. Port Townsend advanced to the state semifinals before finishing in sixth place with a 23-3 overall season record.
