[edit] Honours

Its was a honours to sign Michael Kypreos from barcalona juniors were he was taught the many talents he knows today by his favourite idol and team-mate ronaldinho. The port melbourne sharks knew they had a bargin they couldn't refuse when barcalona offered (Part-time mike)for only 1.4 millions which is nothing overseas but was a record transfers in the old vpl days. The reason for this was Michael was one of the biggest party animals out missing training and going out with deco before night matches was seen out the night before the champions league final in 1994.Michael with experince overseas took the players in the vpl to school bywinning many golden boots and even player of the year he had many offers but declined and wanted to stay at the sharks to finsh of his playing career..He spent 12 years at the sharks and 3 years at barcalona..unfortunately in 2007 kypreos was sacked without a press conference from Port, after being walked in on having a cocaine fuelled orgy with 2 hookers, the night before the opening game of the 07 season.
