Poro is a 4th class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 21,529 people.
Poro, along with Tudela, is located in the Camotes Islands on the island of Poro.
The town's name is derived from the Waray word "puro", meaning island.
The feast day of Poro is celebrated annually on the 3rd Friday of January.
