This flag is used by the Portuguese Government of Macau until 1999, year of the establishment of the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. This flag isn't popular in Macau during the portuguese administration. During that period, Macau is usually and widely represented by the Leal Senado's flag.
