Popular Communications is a magazine with content relating to the radio hobby, including scanners, shortwave radio, CB, and amateur radio. The magazine includes articles, schedules of shortwave stations, and logs of pirate radio communications sent in by readers.

The magazine is published by CQ Communications.

In the June 2007 issue, the publisher announced that the magazine would cover more modern aspects of the hobby, including podcasting.
