Pop Candy is a blog concerning pop culture, including television, movies, comic books and music. Authored by Whitney Matheson, Pop Candy was initially a weekly column for USA Today. In 2006 Pop Candy won the Weblog Award for "Best Pop-Culture Blog."[1]

The blog is comprised of several stories in chronological order, with the newest being atop the page. Each mini-article has its own comments section. The site is updated several times a day and features an eclectic range of current events, highlighting entertainment news and discussions on her favorite TV shows such as Lost.
