[edit] Lucien Goldmann

Hi Ponyboy, I just added a few biographical facts to the Goldmann article. Hopwever, I am no expert and I feel, someone with more knowledge of the man should continue. Maybe, you want to add some info? As it was, the article just started with info on Goldmann's teachings. Regards --Thomas Ruefner 12:26, 19 May 2005 (UTC)

While we still speak to each other
Lunarian 11:09, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

I do not have (nor have I ever had) any desire to speak with someone who is egomaniacally and unreasonably committed to misbehaving on Wikipedia. Any further insults and/or provocation from you on my talk page will be deleted. If you continue to be unable to rise above pettiness, then I suggest that we seek out dispute resolution ([1]). If you're still tempted, please consider the following:

  • Making bold edits
"Wikipedians often make sweeping changes to pages in order to improve them - most of us aim to be bold when updating articles. While having large chunks of text you've written removed or substantially rewritten can be frustrating, simply making edits that noticeably alter the text or content of a pages should not be immediately labeled vandalism."
  • Harassment or personal attacks
"We have a clear policy on Wikipedia of no personal attacks, and harassing other contributors is not allowed."
  • Wikipedia's Guide to Writing Better Articles: [2]
  • Because you are unable to accept the English you write being edited by other users (even though English is not your native language), the following link should help you to write articles in English. Wikipedia's Language Help Desk: [3]

[edit] WikiProject LGBT studies

Hi, I saw your edits to [4] and more, and I'd like to invite you to join WikiProject LGBT studies - we're a group of editors who are working together to improve LGBT-related articles. Would you be interested?Zigzig20s 01:04, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

thanks for noticing. mais, n'ayant pas pour langue maternelle le français, i'd really only be qualified to edit english articles. but the english group sounds great. thanks for the invite.

Hi, Ponyboy, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, peer review and a project-wide article collaboration, all of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.
  • If you're planning to stay, have a square in our quilt! You can put anything you want in it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

And don't forget to check out our Translation department! -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 04:46, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] .

My pleasure. Zigzig20s 05:27, 12 April 2007 (UTC) écrire des articles en français, ça me botte. mais je reconnais que ce serait bien si un natif de la langue les vérifiait.

Sure, I will when I have time. I don't write much on the French Wikipedia myself though. BTW your diet sounds terrible - way too many carbs. (jk) Zigzig20s 16:56, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
pas de soucis pour les carbs, comme je suis végétarien je mange pas mal de légumes... --ponyboy 19:36, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Moi-même je m'y mets...(I would do with some advice perhaps).Zigzig20s 21:55, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
--ponyboy 22:18, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
huh, that's odd. it should work if you go to my blog -> my profile -> link to the left that leads to my friendster acct, from whence you should be able to send me a message (via friendster)... --ponyboy 22:59, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Well then I'd have to sign up?Zigzig20s 22:59, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
ah je vois, je me doutais... --ponyboy 23:07, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] lgbt literature taskforce

Hello there, would you be interested in setting up an lgbt literature taskforce for the lgbt studies wikiproject? I've been working on lgbt-themed novels and it would be great if there was a batch of people doing that too. Thought u might be interested...Zigzig20s 08:53, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Newsletter n°1

Bonjour and welcome to the first WikiProject France newsletter!! It should become a monthly special of our project, but until the next issue, here are some points to consider for the month:

  • In an effort to determine the active members from the inactive, all members are asked to simply sign on my special userpage.
  • I have slightly rearranged and updated the Project page, putting all the featured lists in collapsible tables. This unclutteres the page and you only have to see them if you want to. Give your feelings at the talk page.
  • I have made a Wikipedia advert for our project, Image:Qxz-ad108.gif, what do you think? Personally I feel the words need improving ...
  • There are still map problems at Template:French commune - any help at resolving them would be greatly appreciated.
  • What about starting a monthly drive? We currently have no Featured Portals (except for the Basque Portal which really isn't French any way), so how about improving Portal:France??? I don't know what's exactly wrong but the criteria can be seen at Wikipedia:Featured portal criteria.

It doesn't seem like a lot, so I hope we will still have enough problems for nexts months issue. Salut till the next issue, ChrisDHDR (17:19, 10 November 2007 (UTC)).

[edit] WikiProject Newsletter n°2

It's been one high aiming month! The French WikiProject and related pages have been aiming high for Christmas - and have received an equal number of presents in return!

Well, that's this issue. Au revoir et à bientôt till the next time, ChrisDHDR (18:54, 9 December 2007 (UTC)).
