Hans Pontus Farnerud (born June 4, 1980 in Helsingborg) is a Swedish football player who currently plays for Sporting C.P.
He played for Landskrona BoIS in Sweden and AS Monaco and Racing Strasbourg, in France. He's the older brother of Alexander Farnerud.
He plays for his national team since 2001, and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the Euro 2004.
