The Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, PUC-MG) is a private and non-profit Catholic university. It's one of the largest and most prestigious universities in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is maintained by the Catholic Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte. The institution was elected the best private university in the country in 2006[1].
