Ponte São João

The Ponte São João (Portuguese for São João Bridge) is a 1st century Roman bridge across the river Ave in Caldas das Taipas, Portugal. Unlike most other Roman bridges which feature semi-circle arches, the São João Bridge was constructed by deck slabs.
