Pont-Saint-Martin Bridge
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Pont-Saint-Martin Bridge (Italian: Ponte San Martino) is a Roman bridge in the Aosta Valley in Italy dating to the 1st century BC. From May 11th 2008, once a year, is also a “Bungee Bridge”.
The span is 103 feet (31.4 m)[1] but frequently stated to be 116 feet (35.4 m) or more. It is hard to understand how this significant discrepancy should be interpreted. This is not the longest Roman arch span.
