[edit] Welcome
Hello Politicool, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! [edit] Jonathan Bishop
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Jonathan Bishop, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 17:00, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for informing me of this. I have now removed the tag. I wouldn't be surprised if the editor in question read Mr Bishop's comments on the French President, who from his talk page he appears to support, and decided he wanted him erased from history. --Politicool (talk) 12:44, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

- I don't understand your comment about the French President whom I have never commented on. Puzzled. Bellagio99 (talk) 13:34, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- If the "editor in question" is myself, let it be clear: I never discussed my position with respect to Mr Sarkozy on any Wikipedia page. Puzzled. David.Monniaux (talk) 08:49, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Jonathan Bishop
An editor has nominated Jonathan Bishop, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jonathan Bishop (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 15:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not disrupt the AFD discussion by inserting three-year-old votes, by users other than yourself, into the discussion. Consensus can change - but, more importantly, those editors haven't asked you to speak on their behalf. Don't put words into their mouths. Zetawoof(ΞΆ) 22:23, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
