[edit] User:Political Dweeb

Hello I want to make it clear that I've really just been starting this new message board as a new Wikipedian but still I want to do my best to answer any comments on edits I made to articles and discuss and interact with Wikipedians about them.--Political Dweeb (talk) 11:48, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] User's reasons

For some reasons I've deleted these paragraphs on the images such as Image:PUP Logo.gif for the Progressive Unionist Party article, Image:40078028 sinnfein 203.jpg for the Sinn Fein article and both the Image:Shimpu.JPG and Image:JN.JPG used in the Ishin Seito Shimpu article. I went onto the page called "Media Copyright questions" to ask questions on how to suitably use copyright tags.

A user called Hux clarified for me saying I had got suitable copyright tags for the images saying that "(Non-free logo-when using this it needs brackets)" "can be used for all non-free (i.e. copyrighted) logos, not just political party logos." That is why I took these paragraphs away from my talk page on those logos. However the other reason is because I wanted to say I have used the logos that are orphaned on the articles I previously explained like the Ishin Seito Shimpu, Sinn Fein and the Progressive Unionist Party articles. If there is anything else on these logos image description page that can be improved can someone tell me. Political Dweeb (talk)

[edit] Ahi party logo

It's too large in its current state. Can you crop it so that the English part is missing. Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 22:21, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bharatiya Janata Party

Hi, responded to your query at the talk page of the article. You can have a look. Shovon (talk) 14:23, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi, sorry for replying late. Regarding your second query which is about sourcing, you had mentioned that there might be an internal understanding between Nazis and BJP. This statement was not sourced apart from the fact that the website . has a banner of BJP. This banner might be (or not) be a one way decision by the Nazi party. BJP, it seems, are not aware of it. At least going by the Indian political scenario, it seems highly unlikely that BJP will have anything to do with Nazi Party. But you see, that's only my opinion. Anyway, thanks for the link. It gives me chance to write something interesting for my blog (there at least, I can write with enough POV). ;-) Shovon (talk) 10:18, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I am not much of a Political writer. May be you can contact User:Soman or User:Releta Refario regarding info about different Political Parties and Groups in India. Thanks. Shovon (talk) 09:25, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Vyaghradhataki (or whatever) is communicating with me as I have reverted his unreferenced edits on Bharatiya Janata Party. Shovon (talk) 17:18, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Conservative Democratic Alliance

I have reverted the unsubstantiated rubbish you wrote about CDA. Since I am Chairman I know somewhat more about my organisation than you do.

Why are you interested in my group? Mike Keith Smith (talk) 08:34, 8 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Trotskyism and religion

You asked "It's if this is the political position of Trotskyism then which Trotskyist internationals and groups believe in this idea of opposing the idea of forcing the world to exist without all of its religions but also believe in the natural end of religion's existence?" All currents in the tradition of classical Marxism take a similar view on this. A useful summary is Lenin's essay. Wikipedia really isn't the best place for this discussion. --Duncan (talk) 12:51, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Dweeb. You are correct that Marxists are for religious freedom and for the separation of church and state. However, Marxists also think that religion will wither away slowly under socialism. Religion is a by-product of class society, and it will wither away alongside side it. --Duncan (talk) 13:55, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
