Guevara started playing chess by the age of 12. [1] After the victory of the Cuban revolution, his fondness for chess was rekindled, and he attended and participated in most national and international tournaments held in Cuba. [2]

OK -- I have found that the reason for the misplacing of the portal is related to the length of the line. If I widen the screen then the portal on granma appears in the correct place.
