Sunray, I was curious about the inclusion of the two references at the end of the article:

  2. Revised Statutes of Ontario. 2001. The Oak Ridges Moranie Conservation Act

  2. determine the involvement of the Toronto Region Conservation Authority and Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority in developments on and near the ORM (both have been criticized to some extent)
  3. was the ORM used prominently during other elections
In particular, the last prov. election, where the Tories were accused of so-called "secret deals" to allow housing on the Moraine Skeezix1000 12:58, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
  1. describe York Region's Big Pipe project in more detail
  2. describe associated conservation plans (eg Ontario's GTA Greenbelt protection plan)
  3. clearly describe the role and effects of the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan
  • cite how municipal governments amended Planning documents in accordance to the plan
  • determine changes in policy by the provincial government
  • determine effects on developers and land-owners
  • determine effects on farming
