WP guidelines suggest the Link, if needed, be on FIRST mention of something, now (and then) until deep in this article the casual reader finds no hint of what Tokelau and its politics are. The visible distraction of a plethora of coloured links If the month is named, not numbered, there is no misunderstanding. Elsewhere WP needed linked dates to adjust people's ages, but there was mention of recoding so a link was not needed. --SilasW (talk) 18:45, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
