[edit] Errors

The text contains many factual errors. Kolakowski was 10 years old when the KPP was dissolved. The majority of the post-war parties declared later they were Socialists or Liberals. The article doesn't discuss the basic problems of Polish Communism - independence of Poland (SDKPiL). Xx236 10:30, 11 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Big C/little c

Shouldn't this article be called Polish Communism, as it is about parties/party-state (proper nouns) not political philosophy? BobFromBrockley 16:34, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

It should be about both; and I don't see why the first use would merit capitalizing in any case?-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  18:14, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
If it is about both, fine. My point is that proper nouns have capitals, and Communist as an adjective for the Communist Party is a proper noun and should therefore have a capital. (Whereas communist meaning a world without exploitation and property, which doesn't ahve that much to do with the Communist Party, is not a proper noun and therefore needs no capital. Ah, but this is not an official name for anything, as far as I know. The article could just as well exist under Communism in Poland.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  17:24, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

I do wonder if communism in Poland wouldn't be better. Comments? -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  16:36, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

I agree. BobFromBrockley 13:39, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
