The Poly Canyon Village (or PCV) is the newest and largest set of dorms at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Poly Canyon Village is believed to be the largest student housing project in the nation. [1] It consists of three residential villages or neighborhood areas which will house approximately 2,700 students. The complex also will include two parking structures totaling 1,900 parking spaces, retail and food service space, and a recreation center with a swimming pool. The complex is estimated to cost $299 Million. [2] Construction began in 2006 and the first phase is scheduled to open in Fall 2008 and the second in Fall 2009.
