Poly-4-vinylphenol

Poly-4-vinylphenol, also called polyvinylphenol or PVP, is a plastic structurally similar to polystyrene.

PVP is used eg. in electronics, as a dielectric layer in organic transistors in eg. organic TFT LCD displays. Thin films of cross-linked PVP can be used in this application, often in combination with pentacene.
