Pol Pitron

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pol Pitron (Dutch: Paul Pola, German: Knut Knolle) is a comic book character created by Belgian writer Roger Leloup who appears in the Yoko Tsuno series. Pol is the comic relief of the trio of main characters. His name comes from French "pitre", literally "clown".

Before meeting Yoko, Pol worked as a camera operator under direction of Vic. Pol is often lazy, snarky and grumpy, as well as a real gourmet. He is also playful and thus quite fond of children; he usually hangs out with and babysits the young Vinaean Poky and, later, Yoko's adoptive daughter Morning Dew. Later, he's romantically linked with Mieke, a flower girl he meets in L'Astrologue de Bruges

Pol appears in all albums except La Pagode des brumes, although he appears in only two stories of Aventures électroniques.
