[edit] Images
This template isn't going to have an image parameter. There's still some legacy stuff about {{{image}}} since this is a quick and dirty hack. If you want to argue about images, argue at WT:PCP. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 08:13, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- What is so bad about the images, If the are categorized as a the the fair use criteria, may we keep the images.
-
- Argue about it on WT:PCP, and don't overwrite this template with {{Digimon episode}}. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 23:02, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Edit protect
Please revert to the last verion by Ryulong, as that was the way the template was before the revert war commenced. Hbdragon88 21:42, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- See [1] Metros232 21:46, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- It's also a wrong version that was decided against use, as you can see above and at WT:PCP. Ryūlóng 21:48, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- Also, you can see above that A Man In Black warned about overwriting this template with Template:Digimon episode which happened before the protection. Ryūlóng 21:49, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bolding episode titles
Is there a problem with this template bolding the Japanese name when Englishtitle is empty? People have been inserting "N/A" and "-" into that parameter to prevent the bolding, and I'm curious as to why. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 01:19, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, when there is nothing in the English title the Japanese Romanji and English title is bold, may you change that??? (Bobabobabo 01:21, 2 October 2006 (UTC))
- What do you want changed about it? - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 01:26, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] new template
{{Digimon episode}} has actually been replaced (just not updated in articles that use it) by {{Japanese episode list}}, which does all the same things and more (including a no-images version). You guys might want to think about switching to that template. It uses all the same parameters except that image=
is now Image=
, but that doesn't seem to matter for the list here.. -- Ned Scott 21:20, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- We just don't want images, which is the simplest part of all of this. There is just one editor with multiple sockpuppets who wants it different. Ryūlóng 21:26, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- As I said, Japanese episode list works without images as well. All you have to do is remove the
Image=
parameter and it will format it accordingly. -- Ned Scott 21:48, 2 October 2006 (UTC)- Yes, but people will just use the image parameter; this one eliminates it entirely. Ryūlóng 21:52, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- They could also just replace the template with another template or subst it... I fail to see your logic here. Keep the editors ignorant to keep the pro-image side down? Currently policy does not support a blanket ban of images in a list of episodes, anyways.-- Ned Scott 03:14, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- It's not that; it's just that it is not necessary to use one hundred images on one list. Pokémon seasons can get fairly long. Ryūlóng 03:23, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Images aside, I still don't think it's assuming good faith to assume that the editors will keep on putting in the screen shots. From what I read it appears to be just one or two users doing this with sockpuppets. {{Japanese episode list}} has some nicer appearance tweaks and generates page anchors based on episode numbers or production codes. -- Ned Scott 03:48, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

I'll take a look at {{Japanese episode list}} and possibly redirect this there, if there aren't any significant differences. I don't think the fact that an image parameter exists is a problem; after all, if someone's that determined, they can overwrite this template or replace it in articles. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 03:52, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Good call; {{Japanese episode list}} already does everything this template did, save for some minor style tweaks (which I preferred but can live without). This template has been replaced in all articles that used it and redirected there. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 08:33, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- There's also an EpisodeNumber2 parameter for when you have weird dub episode numbers, etc. -- Ned Scott 09:19, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Oooh, that should be handy for AG and DP numbers. Thank you for the help. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 09:20, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
