[edit] Extra Dimension

I may be wrong here, but I was under the impression that it's Extra Dimension because this game takes place in another dimension, different from the regular Pokemon world? And in this dimension, there are Shadow Pokemon, and the like. -Dalkaen 13:38, May 24, 2005 (UTC)

The websites I've read indicate that it was told or implied to them that "Extra Dimension" is referring to either the 3D graphics or new gameplay features. Example [1] -Luigi2 00:54, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Known obtainable Pokémon?

Maybe I'm simply out of the loop (which is unlikely with Nintendo games), but where are some of the Pokémon on this list coming from? Most specifically I'm doubtful about Mewtwo, Rukario, and Deoxys. I have a feeling this is either ignorance, vandalism, or a combination of the two. Can anyone clarify on the issue? -Luigi2 | Talk 22:29, Jun 9, 2005 (UTC)

Legendaries removed. I'm iffy about some of the other unlikely additions (like Seviper and Snorunt) too. --Un-logged user
We don't know if any 4th generation Pokémon will be catchable yet. The current version of the list matches the Serebii list. Sonic Mew 07:38, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)

Well, right now the contents are mostly speculative, and it technically hasn't been released in English. If someone who actually knows something about it wants to rewrite the article to be about the game rather than a summary of the previews of the game, well, that's when I'd take off the future game template. - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 06:32, 14 September 2005 (UTC)

Is the NA release date right, I was just at Best Buy and picked it up; according to the data box, it's not due out until tomorrow, and GameFAQs lists September 28. -- VederJuda 03:12, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

Hey, does anyone think the story is a bit overboard? I mean, there are a lot of good points about it, but it doesn't need to show every single detail, right? Dee man45 23:44, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

I just went through this article. Here is the notable items:

  • Deleted the lists of Pokémon ("Obtainable Pokemon" and "4th Generation Cameos". Belongs in a Wikibooks entry, not on WIkipedia
  • Shortened the story section. There are FAQs for those who are playing the game or want to know more detail; they don't belong here. I made it into a general overview of sorts.
  • Various cruft and GameFAQs-like items from the remaining entries.
  • More specific detail when needed. For instance, Shadow Pokemon are not "guided to normalcy," their hearts are opened. (Unlees it's changed for XD, then please change it back)

I'm going to add some more of what needs to be taken out; I'd just like somebody else's opinion first:
  • The Preview section seems a bit stupid. I don't know why anybody would care about this information.
  • The Nintendo Promotions is a good candidate. The demo can't be found anywhere right now anyway.

I disagree with the deletion of most of the Story section. It is ridiculously short now, and it might as well be sub-categorized. I think more should be included. More Story,Kevin 20 5 23 26 22:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps it could be lengthened again, but I'm hindered by the fact that I have yet to play this game. I say that the story section I wrote for Pokémon Colosseum is a good length. The phrase "more proof he's lost his mind" is completely oppinionated. He can think very well, as is proven when he takes the Robo Kyogre and makes it into a machine to help you. I think someone should revise that. I also think that the resemblance to E. Gadd should be put in a trivia section instead of the character description as it is rather out of place.
