[edit] What?
Why doesn't the Gameplay section tell you how the game is played? What if the reader is unfamiliar with previous Pokemon Stadium games? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.200.52 (talk) 04:02, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Random online play in Japanese version
Does the Japanese version of the game have random online like the North American one.Green gar 22:36, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wtf
Developer = ""? How can no-one know? - Ferret 13:45, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Everyone knows that Nintendo and Game Freak will make the game. What they do not know is if the company Genius Sonority (the developer behind Colosseum and XD) will develop this game as well, since it has not been offocially stated. - SaturnYoshi 14:55, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Suspect statement
"It has also been said that, when connected to Diamond and Pearl, the two DS games can be played, on the Wii, in full 3D, as opposed to 2D on the DS."
Has anyone else ever heard of this being possible? I, for one, do not think this can happen, but can anyone find a source or anything that points to this being even a little true? --SaturnYoshi 23:46, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- I removed the statement. I'm guessing it's a misreading of Iwata's statements about Diamond and Pearl users being able to conduct battles in 3D on Pokémon Battle Revolution with their DS Pokémon. Dancter 00:19, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- That's what I thought. --SaturnYoshi 00:41, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
well with the pokmeon stadium games and pokemon box you could play your handheld versions on the tv with marginally better graphics. So i guess PBR is expected to follow suit. Michael Cook 22:45, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

- It is true, Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first Wii game that uses Nintendo WiFi conn. and DS compatibility. see: http://www.gamesradar.com/gb/wii/game/news/article.jsp?articleId=20061018141916203023&releaseId=20061018141320421055§ionId=1006 someone bring the statement back. [edit] Launch Title in Japan
I removed the statement that Pokémon Battle Revolution would be a lunch title in Japan. (source) --Mentaka 20:25, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think it was ever announced as a launch title, the last release date I heard for it was December 10th. TJ Spyke 21:25, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Is this game really being released here on Nov 19?
My WTF meter is going off. It doesn't make sense... unless someone's said it's being released on that time.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Toastypk (talk • contribs)
- It is NOT a launch game here in North America. I don't think any region other than Japan even has a release date for it. TJ Spyke 06:49, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 3rd-Gen. Games
Last July, I read this article, and it said that the 3rd-gen. games can link up to this through the Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Link (since the Wii has ports GameCube has. But just a few months after, that part of the article was removed and it says the Diamond/Pearl games are linkable to this game. One simple question; are the third-gen. games linkable to this game?
TYVM 66.174.92.162 01:43, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think anyone yet knows. The Fire Red and Leaf Green trainers appeared in a promo video, but... that was a promo video. I guess some people speculated based on that. --HeroicJay 19:10, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
I imagine that you will be able to put your GBA Pokemon onto your DS and then put your DS Pokemon onto your Wii. I don't think there will be any GAB to Wii compatability.124.183.224.2 14:05, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, GBA Pokémon are transferable onto Diamond and Pearl. That's how I'd expect people to get their GBA Pokémon on PBR. Cipher (Yell) 21:58, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
still yet to explain the fr/lg trainers though, oh what if they are customes—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.211.83.82 (talk • contribs)
- Well, sure, that and I'm pretty sure FireRed and LeafGreen were the newest games during that trailer's release (notice they're all Generation III and older?)—ウルタプ 00:47, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Maybe you can play FR/LG/R/S/E with Battle Revolution via that GameCube Game Link cable and those Gamecube ports found in the Wii. Or that won't work... 66.174.93.101 02:22, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think that they just used older Pokémon so that newer ones wouldn't be revealed.--Tempest115 16:31, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- ...Yeah, anyway. All of you. Just Pal Park all your cartridges, for chrissake. >>;—ウルタプ 21:22, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
...Yeah, that's the problem. I can't afford a DS and D/P. 66.174.79.232 04:50, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
- Not this article's problem frankly...talk page is for how to improve the page, not general discussion on the subject itself.—Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 04:52, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Uhh... June 5th?
Says that PBR is coming on on June 5th. No source. My doubt meter is exiting the atmosphere. Someone explain the rationale. Totema1 21:23, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- I googled it and I don't think that date's anywhere but here. Kochdude388 21:27, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

- Update: My doubt meter just past Mars. Totema1 22:30, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

- *Removes* [1] Does anyone have a source? It was added without explanation here.—M_C_Y_1008 (talk/contribs) 22:37, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

I think I saw in EGM magazine that PBR is to be released 6/25/07. That isn't concrete, though.
[edit] Genre
The genre is not RPG. Pokémon may be a RPG Franchise, but PBR is just a fight? action? strategy? game. Pauluzz 17:24, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Would "turn-based strategy" be more appropriate than "fighting"? 172.142.204.64 16:03, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Obtainable stuff
why not give a list of awards for the people that have yet to be to any pokemon site on the web HHS.student
[edit] Region-Free Wi-Fi
Will Pokemon Battle Revolution be playbale in Wi-Fi from different regions? Like, can an American version play against a Japanese version of PBR over Wi-Fi? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kyle2day (talk • contribs) 02:33, 13 March 2007 (UTC).
- I think so.--Tempest115 19:28, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure that's right. If friend codes are all you need to fight someone, then I don't see the problem, but game discs have something called a region-code as well, and North American games are pretty much limited to North America (US and Canada). But, if it's anything like other online games, which use the internet (universal), then I don't see any problem there either. It's all a matter of region limitations.
[edit] Japan's released version
Does the releases version in Japan have Wi-Fi capabilities?--66.229.56.31 11:04, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Europe Release date
Is it right? What are the references?
Maneco 15:12, April 17th 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I just picked up the latest Pokemon World issue and it's in Autumn. I'll change it, and provide the reference. Henchman 2000 08:07, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] pokemon stadium
Maybe it should be added that it is a bit similar to Pokemon Stadium. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.147.140.231 (talk) 03:24, 23 April 2007 (UTC).
[edit] The point of the Game
Is this game going to be an adventure like Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness where there is a villian and other stuff or is it going to be just nonstop battles. Cause do you really think it would be woth it if all you do is battle and cant do nothing? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.166.30.68 (talk) 07:56, 29 April 2007 (UTC).
- No, just battling. D: (Not even minigames. Jesus.)—Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 14:50, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Well that sucks, I might not even get it then. but then again, I really wanted that game to satisfy mu until the other games i want come out.
Can you at least train your pokemon and make them evolve and stuff?
- From what I've heard, yes. Totema1 17:40, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
The only part of the game that is like the other rpg games is there are leaders when you defeat a certain number of trainers. and you can decorate your trainer, so its not realy all battling. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.223.130.222 (talk) 22:20, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Stadium
Is it going to have minigames like in the Stadium games?--Rat235478683--
- No, as stated in the article.--Tempest115 01:35, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] region compatibility
I would like to add information on the region compatibility for Battle Revolution and Diamond/Pearl, about if you play, say an NTSC version of the DS games will it still link up with a PAL Battle Revolution, and if an NTSC pokemon GBA game will link up with a PAL copy of Diamond/Pearl. The Diamond/Pearl pages talk about connectivity, but it doesn't state to the reader if the connectivity is region restricted or not. I know that only the Jap version of Battle is out and only the Jap/American version of the DS games come out, but I was hoping someone might know, or have tested it on the Jap Battle Revolution. JayKeaton 07:41, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
So an Australian released DS Pokémon title at least works with both NTSC & PAL english PBR but might or might not be compatible with the japanese PBR . And Wii to Wii battles are world-wide . Richardson j 11:46, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The function of the Wii Remote
May I ask what is the purpose of the Wii Remote's functioning (ie movement) in this game? --Phill talk Edits Review this GA review! 09:35, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- Really, it's just used for selecting things, like pointing and clicking. (71.10.172.137 17:14, 26 June 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Legendary Use
Will we be able to use all of the legendaries in random online Wi-Fi play? Or will most of them be "BANNED" like in the Battle Tower?
- Although I do not own the game (no Wii), there are many videos on Youtube accompanied by the description "random wi-fi battle", which shows the use of players using legendaries. An example is [this.] --Koheiman 13:23, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- Playing the game right now and was able to use both Palkia and Dialgia.
[edit] Removal of line.
"This game allows you to get all of the starters and it also allows you to the legendary pokemon on the front."
There is no source, and for a game that's been out for a while in Japan, there ahs been no news on that. I'm removing this, but I felt to bring it up here before doing so.(Mario66 23:15, 11 June 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Multi-battle
I'll add information on the Multi-battle feature being announced, yet not being implemented in the game due to time constrictions. However I lost the source article... darn it, better get searching. --Koheiman 13:26, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
- I can't believe they removed the attention message from the official Japanese site. Oh well, I can't cite anymore sources, so I'll give up on this one.
[edit] June 25th - Release Date or Shipping Date
It says on the article that the game will be released on June 25, but I've heared that the release date is not on June 25th, but actually on the 27th. Is this true? Is June 25th the shipping date? Or the actual release date? 99.244.131.241 01:10, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
I was wondering this myself. I've heard several places that are saying 26th is the release date and that "some stores are having it on the 25th," which I thought was the release date anyway. ShadowUltra 16:24, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Now I'm seeing June 26th and June 27th. I haven't seen a single retailer saying June 25th. ShadowUltra 19:17, 24 June 2007 (UTC) ... Today's June 25th and when I went to my local retailer they told me that 25th was the release date but some stores won't have the game until tommorrow because they weren't able to get a shippment. So I reserved a copy.
[edit] Missing Features.
I noticed in the American Pokemon Battle Revolution that there are no desturtible items...Why is that. Also how come you cant use Darkrai and Arceus on Wi-Fi>Pendo4 is here...Look around...hello???...I am here... 12:21, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- The destructable environments were completely removed from all versions of the game, not just the US version. Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus are currently banned from Wi-Fi as they have not been officially released. ShadowUltra 20:00, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
Why has the destrutible items were removed?
[edit] Surfing Pikachu
I noticed that the surfing Pikachu was mentioned in a bunch of different places, and most of them out of them out of context. I think we should stick to the one section about it, and leave it at that. Kevin 20 5 23 26 20:41, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Magmortar/Electivire
I think that we should put down by the mention of Magmortar and Electivire that ,"They are supposedly unlocked by obtaining Gold and Silver Battle Passes, through a method which Nintendo has not yet revealed to the public."XLS724 00:38, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Serebii thing
THe SEREBII SUCKZ thing, is that accurate? Pahrak bionicle lover 03:54, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deleted the Serebii thing
I deleted it. Lots of vandalism ever since the new voice actors of Pokemon: D/P
[edit] SD functionality
Maybe someone should put something in how you cannot transfer saves to your SD card, therefore you cannot trade save games over the internet. And also the line about starting with whatever pokemon you like is misleading, as without P/D you only start with a very limited number of pokemon and I am still trying to figure out how to add to my collection without buying the DS version! 198.133.139.5 13:21, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- You can obtain six rental passes in the game. After you get two or more, you can swap out Pokémon between passes. This gives you a pool of 36 to create your team. And after you beat the game the first time, you'll be able to trade unwanted Pokémon with the trainers at the Gateway arena. But the total never exceeds 36 if you do not have a DS game. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 02:54, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Anti-Cheat?
I heard that the game prevents entering pokemon with higher-than-max stats or illegal moves. Can anybody cite and or verify this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.87.113.191 (talk • contribs)
[edit] Questions
Okay I have a couple of questions about this game, so if someone would be so kind to answer them for me, I would highly appreciate it:
1)When it says you can transfer the won Pikachu into your DS game, does that mean you can keep it in your DS game and use it in the game as a regular pokemon in your party for battles and such?
2)In the game if you buy a TM and give it to a pokemon you transfered from your DS game, will the pokemon you gave it have the TM move wen transfered back to DS?24.185.163.37 00:09, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- Try a Pokemon forum. This talk page is for discussing the article, not the subject. See WP:NOT for more information. Thanks! SpigotMap 07:37, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
I know I know and I won't do it again but I really need to know so could u pleeeeaaaaase just answer them for me just this once????
- No. Try a Pokémon forum. This is Wikipedia, it's not for game help. Not even if you ask nicely. Cipher (Talk to the hand) 20:53, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ash in game?
One of my friends said Ash is a leader in the game, but i don't belive him. Can someone with the game tell me if thats true? Even though i know it's not. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.223.108.48 (talk) 16:55, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ash isn't in the game. I've beaten it, and he's nowhere to be found. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.77.234.78 (talk) 00:50, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
