[edit] Summary

I made this myself, in MS Paint, based on the symbol’s use in the Pokémon games. I believe it( the symbol for the universal currency of the fictional world in which they take place) qualifies for fair use as the only way to accurately represent prices within the games.

To clarify: I made this image, and I release it under the GFDL, but the symbol itself is probably( though I’m not sure) trademarked by Nintendo. -- WikidSmaht (talk)

[edit] Fair use rationale for use in Safari Zone

  • Nintendo has not released any such images to the public domain
  • The image the most accurate way to demonstrate a distinctive fictional currency
  • The image is being used in an informative way and should not detract from the game
  • The image is used to illustrate important characteristics of the game segment mentioned in the article, which conveys to the reader an idea of what the described service costs
  • The image’s only purpose it to aid in the description of the fictional world of Pokémon, and for no other purpose
  • The image does not limit Nintendo’s ability to sell the game
