Poinsignon is a family that started in France in the late 1600's. It first appeared in the region of Britany in northern France from a small lord who owned a patch of land given to him by the king. The Poinsignon family has been recognized as a noble name in France, they have branched out all over France and the world including Africa, America, and Japan. The Poinsignon family now in the 20th century owns many businesses, from plastic vacuum packing companies, to hotels, food factories in the U.S. and Advertisement businesses.
