Pohorje transmitter is a facility for FM- and TV-broadcasting in the Pohorje Mountains west of Maribor, Slovenia at 15° 34' 53" E and 46° 30' 57" N 1056 metres above sea level. Pohorje transmitter uses as antenna tower a 72 metre tall lattice tower. Although this tower is designed as free-standing, it is guyed in two levels in six directions. This extensive additional guying is unique, especially when one considers that the tower is not very tall and situated in a forest area.
