Pohénégamook, Quebec

Pohénégamook, Quebec (pop. 3097) is a Canadian town on the International Boundary in Quebec's Témiscouata Regional County Municipality.
The town shares the border with Estcourt Station, Maine, the northernmost point in New England.
As 2001, Pohénégamook had 3097 people, 97% of them were white, 1% First Nation, 0.3% Black and 0.3% Asian, 1.4% other.
The town is named after Lake Pohenegamook and is situated on the lake's southern and western shores.
Pohénégamook is a recent amalgamation of the formerly independent communities of Estcourt, Saint-Éleuthère, Village-Blier and Sully.
