Pogostemon stellatus (Lour.) Kuntze, 1891 |
Pogostemon stellatus, formerly Eusteralis stellata, is a perennial herb from southeast Asia and northern Australia, including the island of New Guinea. Because of its extensive and somewhat fragmented geographic distribution, there are many different color and leaf forms of this plant in the wild. It is a highly prized and sought after aquatic plant in the aquarium trade.
