[edit] About the Podracers

I think the info about the podracers is OK, should be cleaned up a bit and put into it's own article.

And was Dampner the default course record holder on one of the Oovo IV tracks in Episode 1: Racer?

(Yes, he was. Executioner was the name of the track.)

[edit] Podracer's wives

This article is completely ignoring the families left behind by the deathes during pod races. The wives of the pod racers must be recognized!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by DynamicUzbek (talk • contribs)

We would've already, except there are no canonical sources for that information. --maru (talk) contribs 06:23, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Haha

This article is really, really pathetic. Definetly deserves to be huffed. Also, the boonta eve classic? Come on.

[edit] Podracers

If we don't put the info on the podracers on a separate page, we should put images of the racers and maybe their vehicles. --JustPhil 20:44, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

Or maybe just delete it alltogether because it looks like a copyvio. — Ilγαηερ (Tαlκ) 03:51, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Podracers

I really don't think this belongs here. If you disagree revert, but I think you should at least consider moving it to a separate page. — Ilyanep (Talk) 01:37, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

Fine. I'll move it to a list, after I revert your edit. --maru (talk) contribs 04:34, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
Alright, works for me — Ilyanep (Talk) 02:25, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism Deleted

Deleted the profanity and racial slurs from the article. I second the motion to secure this article from further vandalism. Jessica 04:44, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sebulba.jpg

Image:Sebulba.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:21, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Of the Notability

The article certainly has notability if it compared to some other extremely obscure articles I have seen, but it needs proper references and paragraph formation. I find it too large to be merged. And anonymous vandals who wish victory, the administrators are those who make the major changes and I doubt that a good one would fall to something that needs simple revision. [edit] Written in-universe

It looks like a lot of this article is written in universe (i.e., as if podracing were real, that different models of podracers really existed, that podracing as an event developed from other events...). Isn't this against Wikipedia policy? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.141.200.171 (talk • contribs)

Yes. --EEMIV (talk) 01:41, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Podracing is real. I want to habeeb.
