I've removed the following passage from the article. I've read through the references given (and the external links) and I can't see anything that confirms this. Some talk about "geyser-like" eruptions, but there's nothing about a geyser jet 4 miles high, for instance. If you want to add any of it back, please give a specific inline citation. -- Avenue 10:34, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- Some consider the Poas Volcano to be a cross between a geyser and a volcano, and scientists believe that it is a volcano gradually becoming a geyser. Therefore, The Poas Volcano is believed to be the biggest geyser crater in the world. On one occasion, it spewed a jet of steam four miles high, claiming the record for the highest geyser jet.
