Pneumatoarthrus peloreus Cope, 1870 |
Pneumatoarthrus is a Cretaceous sea turtle first identified by Edward Drinker Cope as a hadrosaur in 1870. The fossils were found in the chalk beds of Kansas. It may be synonymous with the better known Atlantochelys, and therefore a close relative of the giant sea turtle Archelon.
