[edit] Opinions

  • Most TV episode lists should include fair use screenshots.
  • With few exceptions, article titles should not include characters that are not in the English alphabet and cannot be typed on an English keyboard.
  • Stub sorting is a waste of time. Putting more than one stub notice on a page (example) is even more of a waste of time.
  • Ads on Wikipedia: I don't want ads on Wikipedia unless donations can't cover costs, but I'd like to see how much money can be generated from 24 hours of Google text ads placed under the interlanguage links.

[edit] Donations

Wikipedia is such a valuable resource, but it takes more than volunteers to keep it running. Please consider donating to the Wikimedia Foundation. Most of the money goes to hardware purchases and hosting costs.

[edit] Qualifications / areas of expertise

I acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 1998 and have been in the United States Air Force since 2001.

I'm also generally interested in history, geography, etc.

I'm uploading images to the Wikimedia Commons now. See my user page there for a list/gallery. Of photos that I've taken myself, I'm mainly adding photos of small towns such as in Seiling, Oklahoma and Coolidge, Kansas.

Picture of the day
United States Capitol dome, 1846

A daguerreotype of the United States Capitol in 1846, with the original green copper dome as designed by Charles Bulfinch. Over time, extensions to both the north and south wings, made to accommodate the addition of new states to the Union, made the dome aesthetically displeasing, and as a result, it was replaced by a white cast iron dome which was completed in 1866.
