[edit] Notability of Isla Canela
A tag has been placed on Isla Canela, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 72.75.73.158 11:40, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Costa Esuri may be deleted soon
FYI, please see Talk:Costa Esuri#Fails WP:CORP ... I plan to tag this article for deletion, and since I already initiated the speedy deletion of another article you created, I figured I'd give you a chance to defend it before being summarily zapped.
Please reply either here on your Talk page, or else on the Costa Esuri Discussion page, but not my Talk page ... this will keep the discussion from being fragmented ... Happy Editing! —68.239.79.82 14:42, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

This is your only warning. The next time you make a personal attack as you did at Wiki admins, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Wildthing61476 18:02, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your request for CSD G7 speedy deletion
Hello, Pmboogie ...
Regarding your request for deletion of Costa Esuri that you posted on the Discussion page, I will initiate a CSD G7 speedy delete by tagging the article with {{db-author}}
.
Note that you created this article @ 08:41, 5 May 2007 ... since then, you still have not provided any reliable, published sources for verification of the subject's notability (organizations and companies) ... I fail to see how waiting So Long before tagging an article can be characterized as "itching to flame any posting."
Happy Editing! —68.239.79.82 15:45, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't ask for it to be deleted! So theres no need for your sarcasm. Also the article was nothing to do with any organizations or companies - it was an article about town/place in Spain. Do I need reliable published sources for this?
- On the whole my experience of trying to help out with the wikipedia project has been disappointing. You may want to look at your own advice? Found here: - Wikipedia:Assume good faith —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pmboogie (talk • contribs) 18:09, 14 May 2007

- Apparently, one of the WP:Administrators ... in this case, (aeropagitica) (talk · contribs) ... agreed that you requested the deletion by your comment, "You might as well delete it!" or something like that ... since the article and its Talk page have been deleted, I cannot provide your exact words.
The point is, you created a stub of an article about a subject that did not meet the WP:CORP notability guidelines, and you never came back to provide WP:Attribution for such a claim ... I merely followed the new pages patrol procedures, and an Admin agreed that it should be speedy deleted at the author's request ... now I suggest that you follow my example and MOVE ON. —68.239.79.82 (talk · contribs) 18:00, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
