[edit] On frustration

Hi Plvekamp,

I can tell by your last edits that you're feeling a bit frustrated. My new strategy for dealing with tendentious editing (that I wish I'd thought of earlier) is to simply not post anything when I realize that the only point of my post would be to point out again why the other party is wrong on the subject matter. Instead I focus on verifiability which is much less complicated. (A statement is either supported by a reliable source, or it is not, in which case I can remove it if I don't agree with it.) A discussion on whether a particular edit has a citation or not will usually fit within the edit summary. I also try to only revert once per day. (Starting tomorrow I will only visit the page a maximum of once per day.) I find that using this strategy reduces my wikistress, making it much easier to stay cool and polite. Just thought I'd share. Best regards. --PeR (talk) 21:28, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
