Plugflower is a information company that started in September 2006. It was founded by Karl Flowers who has worked in the South African and UK leather industries since 1994. Being a lecturer at the Leather Industries Research Institute (LIRI), then co-founding the International School of Tanning Technology (ISTT) with Dr. Clive Jackson-Moss and moving to Northampton in 2001. Karl worked at the British School of Leather Technology till March 2006. Karl lectured Leather Technology, Leather Science, Raw Materials and End Use, Surface Coating (Finishing), Clean Technologies and Systematic Problem Solving.
