Talk:Pluton (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The following articles point to Pluton. About half are astronomical usage, about half are geological usage. This is why Pluton should be a disambiguation page. To do: move all these!Derek Balsam 02:40, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Got about half the geology links - more later. Vsmith 03:22, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think I've got them all now. Thanks.Derek Balsam 13:44, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Move request
I think this page should be moved to Pluton: since there isn't an article under the title "Pluton", we don't need "(disambiguation)" to distinguish this page from another article. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 19:09, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, you're right. I'll move. Derek Balsam 19:18, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oops, I can't move it myself, not an admin: "The page could not be moved: a page of that name already exists, or the name you have chosen is not valid. Please choose another name, or use Requested moves to ask an administrator to help you with the move." Derek Balsam 19:20, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
Seems as this is a disambiguation page, there is nothing wrong with the title as is. I'm an admin., but see no need for a move. Vsmith 20:36, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough.Derek Balsam 21:01, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] That was quick
the Astronomy term Pluton came and went like a flash; good thing, too. I've removed the reference to the quickly deprecated term and replaced it with Plutonian object. Derek Balsam 16:25, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
