For Carrie's upcoming book release party she hires Samantha as her publicist. The "plus one" dilemma comes into effect for all the ladies. Carrie first meets her love interest Berger in this episode, and asks him to be her plus one to the party. Unfortunately, he states that he has a girlfriend, leaving Carrie at square one. Miranda pre-baby one night stand Walker accompanies her to the party, but when he realizes she has a baby during the heat of passion, he bolts. Miranda's realizes at this point her life will never be the same now that she has Brady. Lastly, Charlotte thinks she's found her "perfect plus one" in Justin Anderson, a sexy country-clubber. Bunny soon ruins that happy ending and Charlotte is left minus one.
