[edit] AfD nomination of US missile defence
An editor has nominated US missile defence, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/US missile defence and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:59, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Campaign against missile defence
I will see if I have time this weekend to help clean up the article. In the meantime, follow the instructions on Campaign against missile defence. If editors see that you are trying, they will probably give you a little time.
Until I can find some free time, here are some great pages to read:
- Your first article
- Avoiding common mistakes
- Writing better articles
- What Wikipedia is not
- It's ok to use your brain
- Neutral point of view

- Ploughshares - right now, we have several different articles which you started with essentially identical content. I'd suggest that you start User:Ploughshares/Campaign Against Missile Defence (just click that link, then the link which says "create this page"), and start your article. Don't copy other people's work unless it complies with copyright policy; and don't copy their work and edit it - that's still a copyright violation. It also looks like most of your sources are the websites of groups involved in the campaign, or open noticeboards or blogs. Please be sure to include reliable, independent sources for the claims made in the article. Once you've developed your article in your userspace, ask some of the folks here to check it over; once it looks good, someone can move it to article space for you.
