Ploscuteni (Hungarian: Ploszkucény) is a village belonging commune Homocea in Vrancea County Romania.

Ploscuteni was first mentioned in 1792. It was established by settlers from Sabaoani. During the XX. century there was strong Romanianization in the village. The Csángóhungarian language was banned in school and church and today only the elderly population speaks Hungarian.
