{{unblock reviewed|From the block log, "nothing of much use" and "posting links to an attack article" are hardly ban reasons.|Disruption is a blockable reason and your edit is quite obvious trolling}}

Hum...how about this fine edit?[1]. This one was really helpful too.[2].--MONGO 04:27, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

You're right; both edits are quite fine. Everything in the second edit is factual. There happen to be picnic tables in Lake Verona, and I'm sure that more than one poor hapless picnic diner has been pooped on. I do admit, though, that the encyclopedia may not have a place for such edits, and the edit was quickly reverted anyway.
The first edit is similar. I'm sure you call the Encyclopaedia Dramatica an attack site because you're not too fond of it; the ED article about you which I cited says less than stellar things about you. I can only say that your personal opinions of a wiki should not be used as a basis for banning users. Furthermore, the edit was on someone else's userpage, and userpages are frequently encouraged to be edited by other people; even the founder of Wikimedia, Jimbo Wales, encourages it on his page. Once again, if the link were posted on a regular site, I would dismiss it as inappropriate, but its presence on User:Stanfordandson's userpage is justifiable.
I'm adding another unblock request as I feel this needs to be reviewed by someone other than the person who blocked me. I understand that there is an e-mail list dealing with unblocks; I will consider e-mailing it if the next person who reviews this keeps me indefinitely blocked. Plis 22:22, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
No need to add another unblock request; the last review was by me and I didn't block you. --pgk(talk) 22:32, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
I'd like to mention that I was in no way warned before I was blocked, and this is in strict violation with WP:BP. It is surprising that there are so many warning templates and yet User:MONGO chose to use none of these before an indefinite block. Plis 17:05, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "Sorry about the one silly edit. Is there still reason for block?"

Decline reason: "Wikipedia is an encyclopedia first and foremost. If you want to be unblocked show us that you're here to contribute. This request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click edit this page on that article and scroll down past the message informing you of your block.
  • Copy the source of that article and paste it to the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = Article title =)
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article.
  • When are you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.
If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you. --  Netsnipe  ►  03:55, 22 April 2007 (UTC)"
