Plenty is an environmental media company that publishes a bi-monthly magazine and offers daily news on their website (plentymag.com). They are dedicated to exploring and giving voice to the green revolution that they say will define the 21st Century. Plenty states that we live in "exciting times and that people everywhere are reexamining every part of their lives and how it affects the world around us. Plenty works toward documenting these findings, from the coffee we drink to the cars we use to drive to work, and how they make the world greener.

In order to practice what they preach, Plenty offers a digital version of their magazine. Their magazine is printed on paper that is 85-100 percent recycled and contains 20-30 percent post-consumer material. They also offset their carbon footprint with Green Mountain Energy. Their website, hosted by DreamHost, is carbon neutral.

Plenty covers technology, food, homes, design, architecture, cars, clothing, travel, outdoor recreation, leisure and sustainability. Plenty's first issue was dated January, 2005.

The magazine's mission is to inform readers that "If we, as individuals and as a society, make the right choices, we can still have a world of PLENTY" [1].

Plenty Magazine is not affiliated with Plenty International, the relief and development organization founded in 1974. http://plenty.org http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plenty_International
