Pleione (Greek: Πληιόνη, later Πλειόνη; /ˈplaɪəniː/,[1]) was an Oceanid nymph. She lived in a southern region of Greece called Arcadia, on a mountain named Mount Kyllini. She married Atlas and gave birth to the Hyades, Hyas and the Pleiades.
