Pleaseeasaur (pronounced Please-ee-uh-saur) is a comedic musical group made primarily of J.P. Hasson (formerly in We’re Not From Idaho and Touch Me Zoo both with Joe Jack Talcum of The Dead Milkmen) with the help of multimedia artist Thomas Hurley III who handles costumes, props, and lighting. The music is high energy camp style humor. The live performance usually includes J.P. Hasson in many costumes, each of which coincides with the song, along with projections of related images on screens. Many songs are commercials for fake companies such as "No Prob Limo," "Pizza Brothers and Sons, Inc.," and "Action City News." In 2006, Pleaseeasaur signed a multi-year/multi-album deal with the prestigious Comedy Central Records and released The Amazing Adventures Of Pleaseeasaur 2 Disc CD/DVD, which features 11 music videos as well as a 30 minute cartoon adventure, animated by the Cartoon Network Adult Swim animators of SeaLab 2021 and Frisky Dingo. In December of 2006, Hasson collaborated with electronic act Plastiq Phantom under the name American Sheriff. Their debut release Long Arm of the Law was released by imputor? Records. Pleaseeasaur has consistently toured across the world within the past 10 years. Most often with alternative comedian Neil Hamburger as well as with such notable acts as: Black Heart Procession Boredoms Buckethead Man...Or Astro Man? The Melvins Pinback Presidents Of The United States Of America Sleepytime Gorilla Museum Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players
