It's a long story. To make it short, I made a good faith edit to what's admittedly an emotionally charged topic, and my edits have been reverted. It's enough to offend me deeply and permanently. Thanks for asking. Best, Googie man (talk) 01:52, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

I did cite a source, and the source did not agree with what I see as the agenda of the article's gatekeepers. I find it a very disturbing agenda, and one bothersome enough to where I can never edit this site again. That's all I want to go into it. Best wishes to you, Googie man (talk) 01:55, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
It's a sad thing really. I put years into taking the best photos I could for Wikipedia. However, this is something that crosses a line with me. Happy Editing, thanks for not flaming me. Googie man (talk) 01:58, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Planecrash111, those photos have been licensed for use under the GNU GFL license. This cannot be revoked, so these images can be used on Wikipedia. Thanks, Gwernol 02:01, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

PlaceCrash111, thanks for your support and constructive comments. I hope to see you around the baseball articles on Wikipedia. Best, Googie man (talk) 15:48, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Planecrash, I suggest you stop interacting with that editor. They seem to have decided to stop editing, so further warnings and reversion are not necessary. Also, if your original warning to them was about this edit, I have to agree with the IP that this is not vandalism. Could you explain to me what you think was wrong with that edit? Thanks, Gwernol 23:10, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Also, please do not make comments like "I'm considering protecting this page to prevent further abuse". Since you are not an admin you cannot protect that page or any other. Pretending that you are an admin is not a good idea. Thanks, Gwernol 23:12, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Okay, please stop interacting with that IP. That includes reverting their changes. You are incorrect in reverting, I'm afraid. There is no policy that says users cannot remove warning from their talk page. Please leave that IP alone. Their original edit was not vandalism, it was at worst a misplaced good faith edit. They definitely breached WP:NPA in the messages they left on your talk page, but that issue has been dealt with and unless is reoccurs, you should not continue to edit that user's talk page. You are in danger of biting a newcomer and being disruptive yourself. Thanks, Gwernol 23:31, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Why are you accusing me of vandalizing Randy Johnson? His numbers change all the time, since he hasn't yet retired. I have updated them a couple of times after games, both on his own page and on the alltime winningest pitchers page. How this constitutes vandalism is a mystery to me. Dawool 00:05, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

I am not trying to deceive anybody. I made an honest mistake. Dawool 18:56, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Dude, please don't get frustrated. Adding the info you're trying to add is actually pretty easy. I can help if you'd like. Try using this as a source. David in DC (talk) 22:56, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Nice. NeilN cleaned up your cite a little, but now you know how to do it right. Happy Wiki-ing David in DC (talk) 01:16, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Randy Johnson

I'm not sure why you think Randy Johnson has 4,675 strikeouts. He is exactly tied at this moment in time with Roger Clemens at 4,672.

I hope these following links help you out.

Got it. I have added more to the page.(Planecrash111 (talk) 23:29, 3 June 2008 (UTC))

[edit] Jeff Gordon

It has been discussed and decided long ago that the yearly sections for Jeff Gordon is for milestone and important data and not a race by race recap, that is what the table is for. Also stating that him qualifing 38th is one of his worst ever is NOT written in NPOV. I have deleted this information as well as the other non milestone and unimportant data. If you wish to have it put back in then please use the discussion page and let the users decide to avoid and add delete war. --Vertigo315 (talk) 13:29, 7 June 2008 (UTC) tigo315]] (talk) 17:05, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Are you kidding? Do you like completly not pay attention. Do you not read? I have been editing Jeff Gordon and other Nascar pages for years. It has been, as I have stated voted upon, in discussion that the yearly sections are for Milestone and important career data. Not a race by race recap. If you feel the need to keep changing it then put it up for a vote in the discussion page. If you keep just changing it back I will seek mediation by a editior. --Vertigo315 (talk) 03:01, 8 June 2008 (UTC) [[Image:Stop hand nuvola.svg|left|30 Welcome to Wikipedia. Don't pay attention to the false warning. Its just a vandal that is angry that he is one.(Planecrash111 (talk) 13:52, 8 June 2008 (UTC))

The fact that you have been accused of vandalism and pretending to be an admin on here sure does not give you much credibility. I think it would be a good idea for you to use good faith and maybe listen to someone who has been updating this page for 3+ years, but if you want to continue an add delete war that is fine to... it will get you banned eventually. --Vertigo315 (talk) 13:46, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

In respone to the post you made on my talk page referring to the how the page has been kept in the past, the page as been kept in this manner for over 3 years. I know because I have been editing it for that long, you on the other hand have no edit point that are more than about a month old. This is the last time i am going to contact you regarding this. Again, the section is for milestone and career data that cannot be found in the tables. All of the driver pages are being put into this format. Stating as you did that he qualified 38th and stating that that is one of his worst ever is NPOV and is violation of wiki policies. IF you persist in continue to edit in violation of wiki policies then I will suggest formal mediation in this issue. And in conclusion with your asking me to take your advice, I do not take advice from 16 year old in exerpienced editors. --Vertigo315 (talk) 20:39, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Five Dollars a Day (film)

I have nominated Five Dollars a Day (film), an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Five Dollars a Day (film). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Kivar2 (talk) 18:32, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Three-revert rule

Regarding your warning, I just want to say that I didn't violate the three-revert rule even though I reverted more than 3 times. Wikipedia:Three-revert rule clearly states some exceptions to the rule, one of which is reverting banned user. User:Squaty squater , the user I reverted, is evidently a sockpuppet of long term abuser User:TyrusThomas4lyf. See Wikipedia:Long term abuse fore more detail.—Chris! ct 01:46, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Why should I stop editing? Because he is a banned user and is causing trouble, I have an obligation to stop him.—Chris! ct 01:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I get what you are saying now. Yes, I did contact an admin about the problem. Anyway, thanks for your advice. Cheer —Chris! ct 01:59, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
